Purpose of the policy
These rules apply to the website owned by Standardiso DOO — www.standardiso.rs.
Standardiso DOO states that its website is run with the utmost care, in line with technical best practice and professional standards, and in accordance with the applicable legislation, in particular the rules that protect the privacy of website users.
The applicable legislation includes Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ L 119, 4.5.2016, p. 1), and the Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 87/2018).
Data collection
In line with the accepted practice of most web services, we store HTTP requests on our server. This means we record the IP addresses from which users view the information on our services. The resources viewed are identified by their URLs. We also have access to:
- the time the request arrived
- the time taken to send the response
- the name of the client device — identified through the HTTP protocol
- information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction
- the URL of the page the user visited previously (the referring link) — if the user reached our website through a link
- information about the user’s browser
Standardiso DOO may collect data about users from the following sources:
- the Standardiso DOO website, including occasional campaigns
- social networks, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
- public events, sales meetings and client files
- client contact details contained in service contracts
User data that Standardiso DOO may collect and process:
- first and last name, address, email address, phone number
- demographic data
- photographs and opinions
- information about work experience and education, achievements, test results and qualifications
- company information such as the company name, size, location and the user’s role in the company
- data from surveys and publicly available data, such as social media posts
- unique identifiers, such as data from a mobile device or browser cookies, the type of device, operating system, applications, screen resolution and the language used
- the IP address and other data that can be derived from it, such as geographical location and the content users access, together with the location and the exact time and date of the visit
Notwithstanding the above, in certain cases information about the user that is not listed here will be collected, including personal data, where it is necessary to provide the requested service or carry out the requested procedure. The user will be informed that certain personal data needs to be provided and of the purpose for which it will be used, and will be able to decide freely whether to provide or withhold it.
However, providing personal data may be necessary when the user wants information about a service or an event listed on the Standardiso DOO website (for example, information about a service or product, the organisation of an event, an offer, downloading demo versions, or the launch of an employment or internship programme). The user may therefore be asked to complete and submit a form or questionnaire that clearly states which personal data will be collected and for what purposes.
Personal data provided will be processed for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose, unless the law provides otherwise.
Where a user discloses the personal data of a third party in a form or questionnaire, it is assumed that the user has the appropriate consent of the person whose data they have disclosed.
The user has the right to access their personal data and to have any inaccurate or incomplete personal data relating to them corrected or completed. In addition, the user has the right at any time to request that the processing of their personal data be stopped and the data erased. How such a request is to be submitted is specified when the data is collected.
The Standardiso DOO website does not collect, monitor or verify information about users’ age or any other information that would allow Standardiso DOO to determine whether a user (including recipients and users on mailing lists, survey participants and people taking part in competitions) has legal capacity.
Persons without full legal capacity may not submit enquiries or subscribe to services offered through the website unless their legal representatives give their consent, where such consent is sufficient under the law.
